Meet the Team
Fraser Kay - Pastor, Elder
Fraser has served as full-time pastor at NSBC since 2009. His main responsibilities are prayer, preaching the word and developing the leadership team. Having previously trained in teaching, Fraser taught in a local Christian school and was involved in church planting before coming to North Swindon. He is married to Casey and they have two adult children. Fraser’s passions include coffee shops, sports and woodwork, preferably not at the same time.
Tim Burnham - Associate Pastor, Elder
Tim joined our team at NSBC in September 2023. Before moving to Swindon Tim was employed as a Trainee Pastor at Bethesda Baptist Church Felixstowe whilst also studying at Cornhill. Prior to training as a pastor he worked at a few churches up north as a youth worker after studying youth work with applied theology in Glasgow. He also spent time abroad in Senegal working at a school for missionary children and South Korea mostly helping Korean missionaries with English. Whilst Tim was in South Korea he ate lots of tasty food and got a black belt in Taekwondo - although he's not kept his practice up so is nowhere as good or fit as he used to be. Tim loves listening to a variety of music, but mostly noisier kinds.
Ben Pike - Elder
Ben and his wife Rachel have been part of NSBC from it's early days. Ben serves in a variety of roles in the education sector. He loves to see people growing in the Lord and fulfilling the great commission thar Jesus gave us.
Marius Busan - Elder
Marius grew up in Romania in a Christian family, blessed with the example of a faithful upbringing. He gave his life to the Lord when he was 17 and used his gifts to serve different churches in many roles over the years covering music, teaching and preaching. He moved to the UK in 2008 when he also joined NSBC and served as a deacon for two terms between 2012 and 2016.
Marius is passionate about worship as a lifestyle, believing it encompasses more than just music but also how we live our daily lives. One of his favourite worship qoutes is Louie Giglio's: "Worship is our response to what we value most. What we value most will determine how we live our lives."
He firmly believes that strong, supportive relationships among church members are crucial for the church to fulfill its mission effectively and Sunday morning is not enough to nurture these relationships. That's why he is passionate about Growth Groups and creating an environment where relationships can grow centered around Bible Study.
He works full time as a software consultant and in his spare time he loves to ride his motorbike.
Cliff Reynolds - Elder
Bob Seals - Deacon
Bob is married to Chris. They have four adult children and eight grandchildren. Bob came to faith in 2000, and they worshipped in Essex for many years where Bob undertook maintenance roles at their church. Bob and Chris moved to Wiltshire in 2017. They both enjoy regular Bible study and fellowship in groups and joined NSBC in March 2021.
Bob’s interests include furniture making, home renovation, gardening, roast dinner, coffee, and dark chocolate. Bob and Chris are both retired which does mean that life is as busy now as before.
Becky Davison - Deacon
Becky came to faith in 2003 through the churches Children’s ministry.
She leads the Ladies ministry and became a deacon at the beginning of 2023.
Becky loves to be outside and her interests include walking, running, swimming, reading, art and watching all sorts of sport. All preferably by the sea!
Dee Morgan - Administrator
Dee has been part of the NSBC family since 2021, and joined the NSBC team in 2022 when she took over the role of part-time Administrator. Dee is married and has three children. She was blessed in grow up in a Christian family with many examples of strong faith lived out in action, and she believes strongly in family as a primary mission in motherhood.
Dee enjoys woodland walks, CrossFit, and chocolate - in any combination and quantity!
